Was ich Nick allerdings zugute halten muss. Er postet noch Updates...andere wären wahrscheinlich mit Funkstille abgetaucht. Hier der Text des Updates:
"So (trying to be transparent as possible!) the factory is saying it will cost another $15,754 to inject (produce) all the items I need to fulfill the rewards.
Walls: $2,200
Tower: $6,600
Gate: $2,400
Bases: $850
Hovel 1: $2,805
Hovel 2: $2,550
(Plus tax they said...)
I have already given them about $50,000 for molds and used another $3,000 for high-end 3D printing of each piece that wasn't needed in the end...
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Kickstarter takes a huge chuck for fees before giving you the funds. Out of $93,000 raised, I only got back about $70,000. So basically we are out of money here, especially if you add money needed for shipping (to me and then to YOU). I've been trying to work something out. Thank you all for being patient. Here is what they said basically:
They are willing to let me pay half ($7,877) and pay back the rest within 6 months. No idea how I would make that much by sending out already-paid-for rewards... I was hoping to produce extra items and sell them on the website, but that looks out of the picture...
I'm at a loss here guys, I couldn't possible ask for more money from you guys after waiting 4 damn years! I've even asked my rich(ish) Uncle and no-go... Do I start a Go-Fund-Me?! Do I try and get a business loan and go into debt with a newborn baby on the way? Do I start another Kickstarter related to this one?? Any suggestions or ideas you guys have are very much appreciated.
The factory over promised on it's speed and under promised on their prices. I don't know whether to blame Ramiro or the factory...The factory isn't really budging and thought of a lawsuit in Argentina sounds like pure hell. I'm speaking directly with the factory now by the way, to avoid any confusion.
What do we do Outposters?"
